So, Whyatt and the Super Readers jump into the book The Unhappy Puppy, where they meet lonely puppy Checkers. The Super Readers use their super powers to help Checkers find some friends and solve the problem of Woofster's loneliness, too. |
Episode 1 - RumpelstiltskinFrom PBS KIDS - Princess Pea's father is busy, busy, busy with no time to help her tie up her skates. What's a Princess to do? The Super Readers use their literacy powers to visit another Princess whose funny little helper, Rumpelstiltskin, is far too busy to help her spin straw into gold. The Super Readers may be able to guess Rumpelstiltskin's name but they won't be able to guess what will happen in this story! |
Episode 1 - Jack and the BeanstalkBaby Joy, Whyatt's little sister, is having a GIANT-sized tantrum, and nothing will calm her down! The Super Readers use their literacy powers to venture up Jack's Beanstalk and meet a real giant, who's acting like a big baby! Whyatt learns about the soothing power of music from his big brother Jack and the Super Readers save the day. Educational Objectives: To learn strategies for soothing someone, use the alphabet and identify the letters A, E, N and Z. Kids will practice the magic of spelling, and use the power to read to change the story. |
Episode 1 - The Three PigsJill keeps knocking down Pig's tower and he wants her to stop! The Super Readers fly into the Three Little Pigs story and come face to face with the big bad wolf himself. After all, he knows a thing or two about knocking things down. When all the huffing and puffing dies down, Pig learns an important lesson about friendship. Educational Objectives: To learn about friendship, practice the alphabet, identify the letters W, O, L and F; rhyme with ALL words and use opposite words to change the story. |
Episode 1 - King MidasPig only has one toy car, but he wants lots more! Super Why and his friends fly into the story of a ruler with the golden touch and meet King Midas. The king may think that MORE is better, but all he ends up with is more problems! The reading heroes help King Midas, and Pig learns an important lesson about appreciation. Episode 1 - The Story of the Super ReadersWhen the Super Duper Computer calls Whyatt and the Super Readers to the Book Club, they're surprised to jump into a book about themselves: The Story of the Super Readers. Inside the book, floating letters lead Whyatt to new friends Pig, Red, and Princess Pea. Together they use their shared love of letters and words to foil the Big Bad Wolf's plans to blow EVERYTHING down and find that they're Super Heroes and Super Readers. |
Episode 1 - Roxie's Missing Music BookWhyatt can't wait to show his new comic book to his friends, so when it goes missing they all jump into the book Roxie's Missing Music Box to solve the mystery. Inside the book, they help singer and musician Roxie remember and retrace her steps to find her missing book of music just in time for her performance. |
Episode 1 - The Alphabet's Sad DayPig should be excited to get to help his big brothers build their brick house, but he's sad because he feels like he's not really helping. To find an answer to his question of what to do, the Super Readers Jump into the book The Alphabet's Sad Day where they show the sad letters in the Alphabet just how important they are for both making sounds and making WORDS! |
Episode 2 - The Twelve Dancing PrincessesFrom PBS KIDS: Whyatt's family is acting very sneaky and he wants to know why! The Super Readers waltz into the story of the Twelve Dancing Princesses - who are acting just as secretive. The Super Readers may be hot on the trail of the Princesses to discover what they're concealing, but will Whyatt uncover what his family is hiding? |
Episode 2 - The Emperor's New ClothesLittlest Pig is very embarrassed. Jill wants him to wear a bucket on his head for their game, and he feels just plain silly! |
Episode 2 - The Banana MysteryPig's lemonade stand is sabotaged when someone keeps taking his lemons-but who is it? To solve Pig's mystery, the Super Readers take a trip into the book The Banana Mystery where a search for Monkey's missing bananas takes them on a wild ride. They find clues, follow signs, and analyze evidence to solve the mystery just in time for Monkey to bake banana bread for a special celebration. |
Episode 2 - The Pup-athonWhyatt wants to show everyone at the Storybrook Village talent show how smart his puppy Woofster is, but Woofster keeps getting distracted when he's supposed to be jumping through his hoop. The Super Readers jump into the book The Pupp-a-thon and meet Serena, a puppy who's having a hard time focusing on her big day at the obstacle race due to a distracting butterfly. The Super Readers use their super powers to help Serena get back on track. |
Episode 2 - The Silly Word PlayWhen Red, Whyatt, Pig, and Princess try to fly Red’s kite, Princess keeps playing and being silly. To find an answer to the question of why their kite won’t fly, the Super Readers jump into the book The Silly Word Play. There they find a frustrated Bo Peep trying direct a play with the Nursery Rhyme friends, but a silly Present just wants to party and it’s causing chaos. The Super Readers help Present get focused and Bo Peep get her cast to work together to put on a wonderful show. |
Episode 2 - The Princess Who Loved MudPig's big brothers are building houses with their blocks, but Pig wants to build something different. To solve this problem, the Super Readers jump into the musical book The Princess Who Loved Mud, where they meet Princess Reece. She'd rather jump in the mud than have tea parties and dance, but the other princesses don't like mud at all. The Super Readers will have to help Princess Reece find a way to be herself while playing with her friends. |
Episode 2 - CinderellaRed doesn't feel like much of a Princess, so how will she fit in at Sleeping Beauty's princess party? The Super Readers magically leap into the book of Cinderella who has a party of her own to get to! When the clock strikes midnight, Red learns that she doesn't need the help of a fairy godmother to feel great about who she is! Educational Objectives: To learn about feeling good about oneself, find the letters of the alphabet and practice the magic of spelling. Opposite words are used to change the story. |

Episode 3 - PinocchioWhyatt told a lie and he feels really guilty! The Super Readers visit Pinocchio, a boy who also fibbed and whose NOSE is growing, right before his eyes! Pinocchio needs the literacy-powered assistance of the Super Readers to face up to Gepetto...nose and all. And Whyatt finds out how important it is to tell the truth. |
Episode 3 - Where's Woofster?Whyatt's puppy Woofster clearly wants to play a game with Whyatt and his friend Princess, but they can't figure out what game he wants to play. To find the answer to this really big question, the Super Readers jump into the book Where's Woofster? where they find themselves in Puppy Land, but they can't find Woofster. The Super Readers have to use their super powers to find Woofster so that they can find the answer. |
Episode 3 - Woofster and the Pet PackWhyatt can't wait to show his friends the new comic book he's written about Woofster and his friends - the Pet Pack - and their search for the missing Princess of Pet City. How, the Super Readers wonder, will the Pet Pack ever find their Princess? To find the answer, they'll jump into Whyatt's comic book and meet Keen Kitten and Hopkins. Together, they use their super powers to find the clues leading to their Princess. |
Episode 3 - The Rhyming CarnivalRed wants to show Whyatt a trick with her new toy, but she can't make it spin and it keeps dropping. To solve her problem, the Super Readers jump into the book The Rhyming Carnival where they meet Aidan, a boy who wants to win a stuffed purple porcupine at the carnival midway. The Super Readers help Aidan slow down so that he can find the rhyming words he needs to win the prize. |
Episode 3 - The Underwater Treasure MysteryPig has almost finished his puzzle when he realizes that the last piece is missing. To solve the mystery of the missing puzzle piece, the Super Readers jump into the book The Under Water Lost Treasure where they meet a treasure-hunting Starfish who needs help. The Super Readers help her to observe and look closely at clues to find just the right treasure. |
Episode 3 - The Three Billy Goats GruffFrom PBS KIDS: Gramma will not let Red into the kitchen to get some extra special Red Velvet Cake - and it's making Red extremely mad! The Super Readers head into the story of the Three Billy Goats Gruff, who really want to cross the Trolls bridge…only this time the Troll gets to tell his side of the story. The Super Readers wonder if anyone can make those rude Billy Goats Gruff behave, and Red figures out what Gramma needs to hear. |
Episode 3 - Humpty DumptyPoor Pig is stuck at the tippy top of his brand new slide, and is afraid to come down! |
Episode 4 - The Mixed Up StoryBaby Joy is so excited that her babysitter Goldilocks is reading her A Day with Farmer Fred, but when she shakes the book and says "again! Again!" some important words fall right out and onto the floor. Goldilocks scoops them up but they're all out of order. The Super Readers jump into Baby Joy's book where they help sort out the scrambled story and get Fred's life on the farm back in order. Educational Objectives: To learn that changing the order of words changes the meaning of a sentence. Kids will learn the meaning of the word "order." They'll switch some words to make the story make sense and use the power to read to change the story and save the day. |
Episode 4 - ThumbelinaFrom PBS KIDS: Where is Pig's beloved stuffed hippo? He's looked high and low but Henry Hippo is nowhere to be found! The Super Readers shrink down to the size of ants and join teeny tiny Thumbelina on her GREAT BIG adventure to find her missing brother. They assist Thumbelina in her mission and Pig gets a helping hand along the way. |
Episode 4 - The Three Bears Go CampingWhyatt and Pig want to play camp out, but they can't agree on where to put their tent. To solve this problem, the Super Readers jump into the book The Three Bears Go Camping. They meet Papa Bear, Mama Bear, and Baby Bear as they set out to hike through the woods but can't agree on the right trail. The Super Readers must work together to help everyone find a way to agree. |
Episode 4 - Alice in WonderlandOh dear! Princess Pea is so busy playing, she's late to Sleeping Beauty's birthday party and misses all the fun! The reading heroes tumble down the rabbit hole in a madcap adventure to catch up with a famous white rabbit who is also tardy! Super Why and his friends must get through the topsy-turvy house and past the Queen of Hearts herself to find out if the white rabbit makes it to the tea party on time! |
Episode 4 - Cinderella: The Prince's Side of the StoryRed and Little Boy Blue are playing some music together when Little Boy Blue suddenly disappears! This is just like when Cinderella left the ball without finishing her dance. To solve the mystery, Super Why and his friends soar into Cinderella's fairytale once again, and this time they talk to the prince! Episode 4 - The Cowgirl MysteryWhyatt's family members are too busy to play his board game with him, but when he goes to put the game away, it's gone! To solve the mystery of where the game went, the Super Readers jump into the book The Cowgirl Mystery. There, they meet Cowgirl Hazel whose plans for a picnic with her horse Buttercup keep getting foiled. The Super Readers help Hazel find out who is behind this mystery. |
Episode 4 - Super Puppy Saves the DayAfter hearing the story of Super Puppy, Whyatt's puppy Woofster really wants to meet his hero, but Whyatt can't help because he doesn't know who Super Puppy is. This is a really big problem, so the Super Readers jump into the book Super Puppy Saves The Day to find the answer. There, they find themselves in Woofster's hometown of Puppy Town, some very little puppies are in big trouble. It's up to Woofster and the Super Readers to use their super powers to save the puppies and find out the true identify of Super Puppy. |
Episode 4 - Goldilocks and the Three BearsWhyatt accidentally messes up Jack's room and is in BIG trouble with his big brother! The Super Readers pay a storybook visit to Goldilocks & the Three Bears and find Goldilocks surrounded by three broken chairs, three bowls of porridge and three times the mess! How will they solve this problem before the bears get home? Educational Objectives: To learn about clean-up. The episode investigates the alphabet, and rhyming AIRS words. The Super Readers use the power to read to change the story. |
Episode 5 - RapunzelPrincess Pea's kitten is stuck in the top of a tree! The Super Readers jump into a book and meet Rapunzel, who is also stranded high up in her tower. When climbing Rapunzel's hair proves to be (ouch!) a hair-raising idea, The Prince works together with the Super Readers to come up with a brand new rescue plan! Princess Pea discovers the value of a helping hand. Educational Objectives: To learn you can accomplish a lot more with the help of your friends! The alphabet is uncovered and young viewers practice the magic of spelling as well as use the power to read to change the story. |
Episode 5 - Mathis' Book of WhyPig and Princess are scanning the sky for rainbows, but they can't find any and they don't know why. Episode 5 - Beauty and the BeastFrom PBS KIDS: "Grrr! Stomp!" is all Princess Pea hears on her playdate with Wolfy and she can't figure out why he's so angry! The Super Readers zip into the story of Beauty and the Beast and get to know the Beast himself! He isn't so "beastly" after all and if only he could turn down his roaring, Beauty might figure out they're not as different as she thinks. |
Episode 6 - Attack of More ManRed is headed to the park and wants to bring all of her toys, but she can't hold them all and keeps dropping the whole pile. She doesn't know what to do. The Super Readers jump into the comic book Attack of More Man where they find a town's Fun Day Festival in chaos because the mysterious More Man keeps adding Ss to everything and making a mess. The Super Readers must use their super powers to clean it up and return the fun to Fun Day. |
Episode 6 - The Ugly DucklingPrincess Pea's twirls are falling flat, and her dance recital is fast approaching! The Super Readers soar into the story of the Ugly Duckling, who's having just as much trouble trying to swim! With a little hard work, the Ugly Duckling hits his stride, and Princess Pea learns that practice makes perfect! Episode 6 - Tiddalick the FrogFrom PBS KIDS: Whyatt's mom tells him that he's wasting water. This is a really big problem and he's not sure how to fix it. So the Super Readers dash into the Australian folk tale of Tiddalick the Frog and make the acquaintance of a funny amphibian whose puddle jumping is using up all the water and leaving his neighbors in the dust - literally! As the Super Readers help Tiddalick and his dry friends, they learn how important water is to the planet along with a valuable lesson about conservation. |
Episode 7 - The Elves and the ShoemakerWhyatt has a secret admirer! The Super Readers visit the Elves and the Shoemaker and discover that the shoemaker is just as curious about his own secret friends! The Super Readers help the Shoemaker write a note of his own, and Whyatt uncovers his mysterious admirer. The Super Readers travel into the famous story of Sleeping Beauty to speak with a Princess who loves sleeping just as much as Princess Pea loves tea parties! The Super Readers apply their literacy powers to wake Sleeping Beauty…and wake her…and wake her again! Can they convince their new friend that there's more to life than snoozing or will she always find other activities a big snore? |
Episode 7 - Monster MunchPig and Jill are running up and down the hill when Pig poops out! He wants to keep playing but he's out of energy and that is a really big problem, so the Super Readers jump into the e-book Monster Munch to find the solution. They meet Marvin, a hungry little monster who needs help finding his lunch in the interactive digital Monster World. |
Episode 8 - The Foolish WishesFrom PBS KIDS: Whyatt gets to pick one toy from the Toy Store but there are just too many choices! Will he select a race car, a comic book or even a Giant Magic Bubble Potion? The Super Readers meet a farmer and his wife who face an even more difficult decision - how to use three magic wishes. They need to figure out how to make a decision and help the impulsive farmer before he wastes all his chances on foolish things. Or will the couple ends up living out their days in a house made of sausages? |

The Super Readers use their super powers to help the sheep and Bo Peep find each other. |
Episode 10 - Tom ThumbLittlest Pig is ready for an adventure…but his brothers tell him he's too young! The Super Readers jump straight into the story of Tom Thumb, a guy who knows what it feels like to be little...really little! Tom Thumb is about to set off on his own adventure, and lucky for him the Super Readers are there to get him out of a few scrapes! Can tiny Tom Thumb teach Pig a BIG lesson?
