Season 4 Episode Guide
Episode 1 - Episode 1It’s a new term and the end of an era is in sight for the Hartnell Avenue residents but it’s a shaky start for a few of the housemates. |
Episode 2 - Episode 2As the housemates face some difficult questions about life after university, Vod eventually seems laid back about the future. With a new job in a pub it looks like she is taking some control of her life. President Oregon, looking into her legacy, makes the somewhat rash decision to set up a poetry competition in her name. Josie is on the hunt for some new flat mates, but it seems none of the hopeful candidates are reaching her exacting standards, and there’s a bump in Kingsley’s blossoming relationship with Rosa when she drops the bombshell that she has a son. |
Episode 3 - Episode 3It’s dissertation time, and while Vod is having a last-minute wobble about the quality of her work, Oregon has her mind on other things as the newly non-funded wheelchair rugby team continue to protest against her presidency. Josie meanwhile is having an identity crisis, taking the drastic measure of renaming herself Jobbo. Desperate to run away from the reality of her life Vod decides to escape to an anarchist commune and Oregon and Jobbo tag along. |
Episode 4 - Episode 4Oregon’s path of self-sabotage continues - inundated with more poetry entries than she can get through, she decides to burn some of them as opposed to having to read them. Things aren’t going well for Josie either, feeling left out by the girls she joins the badminton society, but making friends isn’t proving easy. Howard is working on his CV in the hope of getting a job with Ordnance Survey – but is a love of street magic really going to make him stand out from the mapping crowd? JP’s brother takes a drastic measure in his attempts to teach him how to budget; Kingsley and Vod take control of the graduation ball. |
Episode 5 - Episode 5It’s crunch time for the housemates as their finals approach but things are falling apart. Vod is selling tickets for the grad ball by promising things she can’t deliver; JP hires a “revision barge” and tricks Howard into coming with him so he has company; Kingsley’s relationship disintegrates right before the exams begin, and Oregon, having applied for a Fulbright scholarship, is reluctant to open a letter from them in case she hasn’t got a place. |
Episode 6 - Episode 6Finals are over and most of the housemates are enjoying their freedom, Josie however is struggling with her emotions as a new but complicated relationship is weighing heavy on her mind. Oregon’s mark is lower than she hoped and her only option to avoid massive disappointment is to keep her real mark a secret from her mum and dad. Come the day of graduation it’s time to meet the parents – while Kingsley is embarrassed by his mum, Josie does her best to keep hers as far away from JP as possible in the hope of avoiding a clash of cultures. JP is suffering from heart-break but determined to see the term out with a bang. With Oregon needing to come clean to her folks, Howard eventually about to graduate, and Vod’s stock on the rise it looks like there will be a graduation party after all. But how do you bid farewell to the best years of your life? |
