Episode 1 - Season 1, Episode 1: The Mighty Megalosaurus

Earl Sinclair must choose his role in life: That of domesticated dinosaur or wilderness dinosaur. After 24 years with the Wesayso Development Corporation, Earl asks for a raise -- and instead is terminated by his angry boss, B.P. Richfield. Highly distressed, Earl returns home to discover that his wife, Fran, has laid an egg.

Episode 2 - Season 1, Episode 2: The Mating Dance

When Fran feels like a dowdy, neglected housewife after hatching her third child, husband Earl realizes -- to his horror -- that he's going to have to relearn the mating dance to woo Fran back to feeling attractive and wanted again.

Episode 3 - Season 1, Episode 3: Hurling Day

When dinosaurs turn 72 years old, they're thrown over the cliff into the tar pit so they won't be a burden to their families. Earl's mother-in-law, Ethyl, is quickly approaching her 72nd birthday, and Earl can hardly wait. But when son Robbie suggests that Grandma Ethyl move in with them instead, Earl may become the first dinosaur to give up his den in the name of family unity.

Episode 4 - Season 1, Episode 4: High Noon

When a gigantic dinosaur, nine times Earl's size, falls for Fran at the grocery store, he decides he wants her -- and everything else Earl loves -- for his own. Earl has to decide whether to summon up his courage and fight for his family or follow the dinosaur's code of the wilderness and run like crazy.

Episode 5 - Season 1, Episode 5: The Howling

Earl's son, Robbie, rebels against the dinosaur tradition of howling as the rite-of-passage to adulthood, but gets caught in the middle when his act of rebellion sets best friends Earl and Roy at each other's throats.

Episode 6 - Season 1, Episode 6: The Golden Child

The Sinclairs are concerned when Baby grows a golden horn on his head, but their concern turns to astonishment when the Council of Elders announces that Baby's horn makes him the long-awaited king of the dinosaurs!

Episode 7 - Season 1, Episode 7: Family Challenge

When a meteorite crushes the Sinclairs' TV set, Earl decides they could all use a little family togetherness by competing on a TV game show, with the ulterior motive of winning a big-screen set.

Robbie defies Earl and hangs out with some radical herbivores, but the two have more than their diets to worry about when they run into a hungry swamp monster.

Episode 9 - Season 1, Episode 9: Charlene's Tale

Charlene is upset to be one of the last girls in her class to shed her stubby tail for a voluptuous five-footer, while Earl tries to deal with his own frustrations as he refuses to accept the fact that his "little girl" is turning into a woman.

Episode 10 - Season 1, Episode 10: Endangered Species

Earl buys two very rare, delicious and expensive creatures called grapdelites to dine on with Fran for their 20th anniversary. But Robbie learns, while writing a paper at school on why the dinosaurs rule the Earth, that the grapdelites Earl has bought are the last two members of a nearly extinct species.

Episode 11 - Season 1, Episode 11: Employee of the Month

When Earl wins the title, "Employee of the Month," the Sinclairs prepare themselves for a visit from Earl's fearsome boss, B.P. Richfield.

Episode 12 - Season 1, Episode 12: When Food Goes Bad

Against Fran's and Earl's wishes, Charlene secretly fills in for Robbie when he is supposed to watch Baby, but finds herself in deep trouble when some vengeful refrigerator-creatures take her and Baby hostage.

Episode 13 - Season 2, Episode 1: Career Opportunities

Earl is elated at the news that the all-powerful job wizard has assigned young Robbie the lifetime job of tree pusher, but Robbie is horrified that he must follow in his father's tailpath.

When Fran's and Earl's marriage license expires, and Earl flunks all the renewal tests, Fran wonders if she should follow the example of her new friend, Monica, the world's first divorcee.

Smitten by a beautiful dinosaur named Caroline, Robbie falls under the bad influence of the uncivilized Spike, who insists that Robbie has to behave like a tough, macho animal if he wants to succeed with girls.

Episode 16 - Season 2, Episode 4: Switched At Birth

Much to Earl's joy, a nest and egg mix-up at birth means that the Baby belongs to somebody else, and another, very polite baby is actually the Sinclairs' child; but Fran is determined not to give up her son.

Episode 17 - Season 2, Episode 5: Refrigerator Day

Dinosaurs everywhere get ready to celebrate, with carols and pageants, the tradition of Refrigerator Day -- in honor of the invention that makes modern life possible. But gloom looms at the Sinclair house, because Earl did not get his bonus and the refrigerator has been repossessed.

Episode 18 - Season 2, Episode 6: What 'Sexual' Harris Meant

Monica gets a job pushing down trees for Wesayso but is fired after refusing the advances of new coworker Al "Sexual" Harris, popular for his double entendres. Determined not to let the males in the workforce hold her down, she takes the matter to court but doesn't get much help in her case.

Episode 19 - Season 2, Episode 7: Fran Live

Earl suffers the slings and arrows of humiliation because Fran has traded her household duties for those of a talk-show hostess. Now, the entire Sinclair family must learn to cope without a traditional, homemaking mom around.

Episode 20 - Season 2, Episode 8: Power Erupts

When Robbie gains widespread attention for his science project, which could tap a source of cheap, clean energy, the Wesayso corporate bosses immediately connive to discredit his idea; but even Fran is amazed at Earl's reaction to the attack on their son.

Episode 21 - Season 2, Episode 9: The Clip Show

Using scenes from Sinclair family life as examples, a prominent paleontologist speculates on the amazing survival instincts of dinosaurs, and puzzles over why they became extinct.

Episode 22 - Season 2, Episode 10: A New Leaf

Robbie and his friend, Spike, find a groovy new plant in the woods that produces a very happy mood in anyone munching its leaves. But when Earl loses his job, and everyone else sinks into a blissful, leafy fog, Fran reacts with wrathful fury to save her home and family.

Episode 23 - Season 2, Episode 11: The Last Temptation of Ethyl

The Sinclairs are flabbergasted when Ethyl comes back from a near-death experience and becomes the star attraction on a TV show selling the afterlife; but Ethyl's departed husband has some advice for her about her new venture.

Episode 24 - Season 2, Episode 12: Nuts to War, Pt. 1

As war flares with rival four-legged dinosaurs over the flow of pistachio nuts, Robbie goes off to fight in "Operation We Are Right," much to his parents' dismay. Then, the invitation Charlene receives to join the USO at the front gives Fran a bright idea on how to recover her son.

Episode 25 - Season 2, Episode 13: Nuts to War, Pt. 2

Earl, dressed as a USO volunteer, finds Robbie at the battlefront and pleads with him to come home. But Robbie has now become a firm believer in the fight, and Earl realizes that going to war has consequences far greater than he ever imagined.

Episode 26 - Season 2, Episode 14: Slave To Fashion

Charlene, caught up in status-seeking at school, spends all her college-education money on an expensive talking coat -- which advises her to dump her best friend and steal Earl's credit card.

Episode 27 - Season 2, Episode 15: And The Winner Is…

Just as Baby Sinclair is about to receive an official name at last, the chief Elder dies, and much to everyone's amazement, Earl is chosen as B.P. Richfield's opposition candidate in the election for a new chief Elder.

Episode 28 - Season 2, Episode 16: Leader of the Pack

Tired of getting beat up, Robbie asks to join his friend Spike's vicious, disgusting gang, the Scavengers, for protection -- and through an incredible chain of events, becomes their leader.

Episode 29 - Season 2, Episode 17: Wesayso Knows Best

Earl is elated when his Wesayso bosses pick the Sinclair family to star in a commercial campaign to promote the company; but when they substitute his friend, Roy, as the father, Earl has to deal with life as a single guy.

Episode 30 - Season 3, Episode 1: Nature Calls

The Baby rebels furiously against his father Earl's attempts to toilet train him, and escapes into the woods, where hungry predators seek to devour him.

Episode 31 - Season 3, Episode 2: Dirty Dancing

Because Earl refuses to talk to Robbie, who has reached the embarrassing age at which his legs go into an involuntary dance whenever he sees a pretty girl, Fran decides she will explain the phenomenon of the mating dance to her humiliated son and his classmates.

Episode 32 - Season 3, Episode 3: Baby Talk

Earl and Fran can't figure out how to handle the Baby, who keeps repeating a dirty word he picked up from watching television. So instead, Earl joins a fringe protest group whose demands escalate into forbidding freedom of thought.

Episode 33 - Season 3, Episode 4: Network Genius

Earl's responses as a test subject to new TV shows prove so accurate that he is hired as a network executive and becomes a huge hit. But, as his programs soar in the ratings, the viewer population suddenly starts getting dumber.

Episode 34 - Season 3, Episode 5: The Discovery

Earl thinks he has realized his dreams of fame and fortune with his discovery of a new, uncharted land -- until the cavemen inhabitants capture Robbie and Baby and hold them hostage to protest the destruction of their homeland.

Episode 35 - Season 3, Episode 6: Little Boy Boo

The Baby frightens Robbie, so to retaliate, Robbie tells him a terrifying story about being attacked by a rabid Wereman one moonlit autumn night. But the mesmerized Baby's imagination proves more vivid than Robbie realizes.

Episode 36 - Season 3, Episode 7: Germ Warfare

As mischievous germs party inside flu-ridden Baby, worry-ridden Earl and Fran pay a fortune to a pricey doctor to treat the child -- refusing to listen to Grandma Ethyl's time-tested advice.

Episode 37 - Season 3, Episode 8: Hungry for Love

A chance meeting leads to romance between Robbie and Wendy, the daughter of Earl's overbearing boss. But there's a rumor circulating about Wendy which holds that she has this nasty little habit of ingesting all her boyfriends.

Episode 38 - Season 3, Episode 9: License to Parent

Overreacting to some routine sparring between Earl and Baby, the Parent Patrol suspends Earl's License to Parent, hauling both father and son down to a special school, where Earl must earn his recertification by passing a series of test encounters with his lovable little tyke. The session turns into a sidesplitting battle of the wills -- and won'ts.

Episode 39 - Season 3, Episode 10: Charlene's Flat World

The class assignment is to come up with a totally original idea, and Charlene hatches a doozer: The world is round! Her revolutionary theory gets her arrested and prosecuted for heresy -- while brother Robbie scrambles to round up a defense witness to save her.

Episode 40 - Season 3, Episode 11: Wilderness Weekend

In a ceremonial assertion of megalosaurian machismo, Warrior Chief Earl, his sons and close male friends embark upon a sacred ritual (translation: camping trip), unaware of the huge, hideous monster that awaits them in ambush. Meanwhile, at home, Fran and the girls fill in for their foraging men by watching TV sports, eating salted snacks, and getting swacked on beer.

Episode 41 - Season 3, Episode 12: The Son Also Rises

A rebellious Robbie challenges Earl at the Office of Male Supremacy and becomes the dominant male in the Sinclair household. But he hasn't counted on all the responsibilities, like getting a job to support the family.

Episode 42 - Season 3, Episode 13: Getting to Know You

Infuriated by Earl's insensitivity to her needs, Charlene joins a species exchange program and moves in with the Poupon bird family. The Sinclairs, in turn, house the Poupon adolescent -- a squawker named Francois for whom Baby shows a particular affinity.

Episode 43 - Season 3, Episode 14: Green Card

When the recession forces tree-pushers Earl, Roy, Sid and Gus out of their jobs, all four-legged dinosaurs are blamed -- and banished to the other side of the swamp. But Roy refuses to join the hate movement: To save quadruped Monica from exile, he boldly proposes marriage to her.

Episode 44 - Season 3, Episode 15: Out of the Frying Pan

The Baby, chosen to star in a frying pan commercial, turns into an instant celebrity and becomes a spoiled brat, forcing Fran to decide whether the fame and money are worth forsaking family life.

Episode 45 - Season 3, Episode 16: Steroids to Heaven

Romance is in the air, and Robbie tries to compete with a muscle-bound colleague for the affections of comely Caroline Foxworth. Will taking large doses of thornoids do the trick? The lad is about to find out.

Episode 46 - Season 3, Episode 17: Honey, I Miss the Kids

When Fran's blue funk over her dull-gray existence as housewife and mother reaches the crisis level, she ups and quits in favor of volunteer social-service work. This leaves Earl in charge of both breadwinning and homemaking, if one can picture it.

Episode 47 - Season 3, Episode 18: Swamp Music

Robbie, introduced to the wailing, funky blues sounds of 'swamp music' played by racially denigrated swamp mammals, tries to get them a record deal, but runs up against a sleazy executive con artist and prejudice from Earl.

Episode 48 - Season 3, Episode 19: If You Were a Tree

Earl, struck by a lightning bolt, exchanges his spiritual essence with that of a willow tree; but while his bewildered family and friends try to figure out what's different about this "Earl," workers prepare to blast the tree-trapped real Earl with dynamite.

Episode 49 - Season 3, Episode 20: We Are Not Alone

Earl ignores Robbie's pleas that he get involved in helping to clean up the planet. But then, a visit from a terrifying alien changes Earl into a passionate environmental crusader against greedy corporations like Wesayso.

Episode 50 - Season 3, Episode 21: The Clip Show, Pt. 2

Sir David Tushingham, noted paleontologist, offers a special home-study course on those magnificent creatures, the dinosaurs, and it falls to the Sinclairs to illustrate everything there is to know about their customs, behavior and eating habits.

Episode 51 - Season 3, Episode 22: Charlene and Her Amazing Humans

Trying to win Fran's and Earl's attention, Charlene creates a stage show with some cavelings (human children) and it becomes popular, but then the pressure mounts for her to mistreat the cavelings in order to become a big success and impress her parents.

Episode 52 - Season 4, Episode 1: Monster Under the Bed

After watching a horror movie on TV, Baby refuses to go to sleep, insisting there's a monster under the bed. When Robbie and Charlene take a look for themselves, they find that Baby is right.

Episode 53 - Season 4, Episode 2: Earl, Don't Be a Hero

When Earl falls into a toxic waste site and develops super powers, he is thrilled because Baby pays attention to him now that he's perceived as Captain Impressive. But Earl is faced with a moral dilemma when his boss, B.P. Richfield, expects Captain Impressive to endorse dangerous products.

Episode 54 - Season 4, Episode 3: The Greatest Story Ever Told

When Baby asks "Where do we come from?," the whole Pangaean culture is turned on its head to find an answer. Also, when the government starts to use its own special religion to dictate policies, Robbie rebels and is pronounced a heretic.

Episode 55 - Season 4, Episode 4: Driving Miss Ethyl

Earl is miffed when he has to drive his mother-in-law Ethyl to her 60th high-school class reunion -- it's an eight-hour trip. Meanwhile, the rest of the family has a problem posing for a group picture to present to Earl for his upcoming birthday.

Episode 56 - Season 4, Episode 5: Earl's Big Jackpot

When Earl is injured on the job, Robbie and Fran trick him into slapping Wesayso with the world's first worker's compensation suit. When the jury, won over by Baby's testimony, awards Earl $800 million, the entire economy comes unhinged.

Episode 57 - Season 4, Episode 6: Terrible Twos

When Baby turns two years old, he becomes an intolerable monster. Earl and Fran attempt to control the possessed child with everything from a German disciplinarian to an exorcist.

Episode 58 - Season 4, Episode 7: Changing Nature

The construction of a Wesayso factory throws a kink into the "ecosystem," and Earl is appointed to head a civilian task force which becomes responsible for the fate of the world. He fails, thereby precipitating the onset of the Ice Age and the extinction of all dinosaurs.

Episode 59 - Season 4, Episode 8: Scent of a Reptile

Charlene's scent gland comes in and Fran explains the one boy who is attracted to her scent is the one she's destined to marry. But Charlene puts out fumes of burning rubber and attracts the school janitor who aspires to be a tree pusher.

Episode 60 - Season 4, Episode 9: Earl and Pearl

Earl is forced to deal with his angry feelings toward his sister when she arrives for a visit. Voices of Stuart Pankin and Susan Norfleet.

Episode 61 - Season 4, Episode 10: Life in the Faust Lane

After seeing the TV show "Lifestyles of Those We Envy", Earl makes a deal with the devil for a Fernhill mug thinking it will make him happy. As a result he alienates himself from his friends, who he thinks are beneath him now, and his family, who thinks he's gone crazy.

Episode 62 - Season 4, Episode 11: Variations On a Theme Park

When too many overworked employees drop dead from exhaustion, businesses give dinosaurs two weeks off for a vacation; B.P. Richfield advises Earl to bring his family to WeSaySo Land, which is supposed to be a fun amusement park for the family. What the Sinclairs find is an overpriced, cow themed park that is newly under construction, and they have to stay for 14 days.

Episode 63 - Season 4, Episode 12: Working Girl

Charlene attempts to break into the male-dominated workforce and get a job to pay for her summer wilderness trip; but finds all businesses work under the Old Boys Network that is determined to keep females tied down. When her letter to the Chief Elder about equal job opportunities for females is chosen for an accepted requirement for all businesses with government contracts, B.P. Richfield hires Charlene as the new supervisor and Earl has to deal with having his daughter for a boss.

Episode 64 - Season 4, Episode 13: Into the Woods

Earl's game day is interrupted when he has to take Baby into the woods for a traditional ritual to show the Baby that the world doesn't revolve around him and that he needs his family. But when Earl, Roy and Robbie unknowingly step into a tar pit, they need the Baby to save them.

Episode 65 - Season 4, Episode 14: Georgie Must Die

When Earl dresses up as Georgie, an orange hippo that is the latest hit in children's television but the parents' latest nightmare, to put on a show for the Baby, he is arrested for copyright infringement. In jail, Earl finds out that Georgie has a sinister plan in mind for his merchandising empire and breaks out to join the Parents' Resistance and enlists Roy's help to take the evil hippo down.
