Episode 1 - ShowdownAfter the Virginia City bank is robbed by an outlaw gang, the gang's youngest member gets a job on the Ponderosa. Initially welcomed, Little Joe becomes suspicious of Ponderosa's newest member.

Episode 2 - The MissionCharlie Trent used to be an Army scout. Now he's the town drunk. Hoss helps him regain his self-esteem when he has him volunteer to lead a gold-bearing troop through the desert where there's very little water.

Episode 3 - Badge Without HonorAfter a U.S. deputy marshal saves Adam's life from two gunmen, he explains that he is in town to bring a close friend of the Cartwright's to San Francisco to testify in a statewide racketeering trial, but the Deputy Marshal's motives for the witness soon become suspicious.

Episode 4 - The MillWith Tom Edwards' ranch going to waste since he became a paraplegic following an accident with Ben, Ben makes a business proposition: The Cartwrights will build a mill on Edwards' land. The deal is made, but suspicions of Edwards' accident bring tension to Ponderosa and put their agreement at risk.

Episode 5 - The HopefulsAdam tags along with a wagon train of Quakers passing through town as he is interested in the leader's daughter. Someone, however, intends to take the gold being carried in the wagon train, putting everyone in danger.

Episode 6 - Denver McKeeRetired U.S. Deputy Marshall Denver McKee struggles to find the suspects responsible for stolen cattle and murdered ranchers.

Episode 7 - Day of ReckoningBen Cartwright gives a strip of fertile farming land to an Indian who had previously saved Ben's life. Things take a deadly turn, however, when the land ends up being next to a very racist farmer.

Episode 8 - The AbductionLittle Joe's date, Jennifer, is abducted and held for ransom at the circus. He and Hoss search the circus for her, facing a tough crowd of carnies in their search.

Episode 9 - Breed of ViolenceDolly Kincaid is so fed up with her extremely dominant, controlling, sheriff father, that she runs away with her boyfriend. She later finds out he is the leader of some murderous bank robbers and when they kidnap Hoss and Joe, she still sticks with him.

Episode 10 - The Last VikingGunnar, a relative of the Cartwright family, arrives in Ponderosa, where the family takes him in for the night. Unknown to the Cartwrights, is Gunnar's leading of The Comancheros. After Little Joe and his girlfriend are kidnapped by The Comancheros, the Cartwrights and Gunnar must work things out.

Episode 11 - The Trail GangAn outlaw joins the Cartwrights' cattle drive, knowing it will take him to the town where his father is sheriff.

Episode 12 - The SavageAdam rides up on some Indians wanting to harm a white woman they believed was a mountain spirit. He kills them but not before they wound him. The woman nurses him back to health but the rest of the tribe is still out there looking for her.

Episode 13 - Silent ThunderLittle Joe runs into romantic complications when he tries to teach a deaf girl (Stella Stevens) sign language; guest Albert Salmi.

Episode 14 - The ApeHoss mentors a lonely, mentally challenged man who, with superhuman size and strength, becomes extremely dangerous when angered. These efforts are undermined by a saloon girl who only wants this giant man-child to manipulate him.

Episode 15 - The Blood LineWhen 16-year-old Todd Grayson arrives from Boston to Virginia City, he is told that his father has been killed by Ben Cartwright. Ben shot Luke Grayson in self-defense, but Todd won't listen to this. The boy has only one thing in his head: to avenge his father by killing Ben Cartwright.

Episode 16 - The CourtshipHoss falls prey to the wiles of a beautiful woman with a gambling addiction and refuses to believe she's only interested in his money in spite of Adam's proof to the contrary.

Episode 17 - The SpitfireAfter Joe kills a man in self-defense who tried to set fire to the Ponderosa to clear himself some land, he has to take his lively, feisty, wild daughter home, and she and her relatives are now determined to kill Joe.
