Episode 1 - Things Done Changed

It’s the start of a new school year and Spencer (Daniel Ezra) and Jordan (Michael Evans Behling) are officially eligible to enter the NFL draft, placing Spencer at the center of the media spotlight. Olivia (Samantha Logan) returns to LA after being changed by her time in London. Layla (Greta Onieogou) plans for the opening of her new lounge which will feature Patience’s (Chelsea Tavares) first performance since being stabbed. Elsewhere, Asher (Cody Christian) and Jaymee (guest star Miya Horcher) navigate their new lives as parents to baby AJ. Bre-Z, Monet Mazur and Karimah Westbrook also star.
Episode 2 - Public Service Announcement

As the team heads into their first football game of the season, the media’s growing obsession with Spencer (Daniel Ezra) begins to take a toll on him. Meanwhile, Olivia (Samantha Logan) opens up to Jordan (Michael Evans Behling) and Laura (Monet Mazur) about what she’s been working on, and Layla (Greta Onieogou) and Coop (Bre-Z) help Patience (Chelsea Tavares) take back control of her life.
Episode 3 - Business Is Business

New changes on the field begin to create tension between Spencer (Daniel Ezra) and Jordan (Michael Evans Behling) at the worst possible time. While working on her latest project, Olivia (Samantha Logan) deals with the emotional fallout of digging too deep into the past. Elsewhere, Asher (Cody Christian) is forced to make a difficult decision after losing one of his star players.
Episode 4 - Blackout

After celebrating his 21st birthday, Spencer (Daniel Ezra) enlists Coop’s (Bre-Z) help to figure out what happened at his party the night before. Episode 5 - Trust Issues

After having some issues with a new game strategy on the field, Spencer (Daniel Ezra) diverts his attention to helping a South Crenshaw High player, who has been struggling with his own issues. A surprise visit by Olivia’s (Samantha Logan) BFF Ashley causes some tension between Olivia and Spencer. Elsewhere, Laura (Monet Mazur) guest lectures Coop’s (Bre-Z) law class, and Layla (Greta Onieogou) helps Jordan (Michael Evans Behling) find a new roommate at the beach house.
Episode 6 - Connections

After a spontaneous trip to the cabin leaves the Vortex without internet, they decide to spend their time helping Spencer (Daniel Ezra) with his latest case studies on relationships. In the process, Spencer and Olivia (Samantha Logan) are forced to deal with their growing issues head-on, while Jordan (Michael Evans Behling) makes an unexpected discovery about Layla (Greta Onieogou). Finally, Laura (Monet Mazur) reveals some difficult news to Coop (Bre-Z) about Patience’s (Chelsea Tavares) case against Miko.
Episode 7 - Passin' Me By

It’s New Year’s Eve and Spencer (Daniel Ezra) and Olivia (Samantha Logan) are determined to ring in the new year together despite several interruptions that arise throughout the day. Elsewhere, Jordan (Michael Evans Behling) gets advice on how to navigate a sensitive topic with Layla (Greta Onieogou), and Asher (Cody Christian) comes clean to Jaymee (guest star Miya Horcher) about a secret he’s been keeping. Finally, Patience (Chelsea Tavares) is pushed to her limit.

With one of the biggest games of his career around the corner, Spencer (Daniel Ezra) seeks guidance by revisiting his past. As Layla (Greta Onieogou) continues to work through her mental health recovery, she plans a major surprise for Jordan (Michael Evans Behling). Spencer (Daniel Ezra) finds himself struggling at the NFL combine when prospective coaches dig into his past. Jordan (Michael Evans Behling) convinces Layla (Greta Onieogou) to take a day for herself while he handles her first brunch service at the lounge. When a couples’ trip doesn’t go as planned, Spencer (Daniel Ezra) volunteers the Vortex’s help at South Crenshaw High’s production of Romeo and Juliet. Jordan (Michael Evans Behling) and Layla (Greta Onieogou) receive news from their wedding venue that leaves them each feeling conflicted. Elsewhere, a new development in Miko’s trial leads Coop (Bre-Z) to make a risky move. Finally, Laura (Monet Mazur) prepares for her first date, and Asher (Cody Christian) and Jaymee (guest star Miya Horcher) attempt to reconnect.
Episode 12 - Draft Day

With Draft Day around the corner, Spencer (Daniel Ezra) celebrates the big day by making some lavish purchases. Meanwhile, Olivia (Samantha Logan) unveils her book to her family but worries that no one will show up to her first book signing. Elsewhere, Jordan (Michael Evans Behling) stresses over who his best man will be, and Asher (Cody Christian) faces an uncertain future at Coastal.
Episode 13 - Victory Lap

As they prepare for their wedding day, Layla (Greta Onieogou) admits to Jordan (Michael Evans Behling) that she’s missing her mother’s presence. Spencer (Daniel Ezra) shifts his focus from the NFL draft to Layla and Jordan’s big day. Patience (Chelsea Tavares) is conflicted after receiving an unexpected opportunity.
Episode 14 - I Do, Pt. 1

It’s been five months since Spencer (Daniel Ezra) was named Super Bowl MVP and he and Olivia (Samantha Logan) are now focused on one thing — pulling off the perfect wedding weekend. Jordan (Michael Evans Behling) considers a new job offer, and his and Layla’s (Greta Onieogou) search for a new home takes an unexpected turn. Meanwhile, Laura (Monet Mazur) and Grace (Karima Westbrook) go head-to-head to see who can write the best speech, and Coop (Bre-Z) and Asher (Cody Christian) plan a special bachelor/bachelorette party.
Episode 15 - I Do, Pt. 2

When an unexpected phone call leaves Liv (Samantha Logan) spiraling on her wedding day, the Vortex band together to create magic. Elsewhere, Spencer (Daniel Ezra) goes MIA as he rallies help for a surprise of his own, while Laura (Monet Mazur) brings in her own reinforcement. Finally, Coop (Bre-Z) receives some major news about her future.
