Episode 3 - The art of being uncuteWho's the cutest cat in the country? Nermal. And who's the clingiest, most annoying and most pretentious cat in the country? Also Nermal. Garfield's running out of ideas to get rid of him. Although maybe the beauty contest might work... the first prize is a six month long stay in Greenland. Not bad, huh? |
Episode 4 - The haunted houseJon has no inspiration for his next comic strip and the darn telephone just won't stop ringing. He just can't concentrate. Of course, it's his editor on the phone. He suggests Jon goes to stay at his country house. Then he'll get plenty of quiet to work in, and there's no telephone. Off he goes! Odie, Garfield and Jon drive away, heading for an oasis of peace and quiet. |
Episode 5 - Night of the bunny slippersSurprise! Aunt Ivy is coming to visit her nephew Jon! How long is she staying? A week... Ah... And she hates animals... They'll have to sleep outside. Well, what a pleasure to see you. Come on in, Aunt Ivy, why don't you. That's how things start out. And then things get worse. Next, there's a slipper problem. |
Episode 6 - Planet of poultryIn the dark recesses of space, Harlin, the owner of Neptunian Nuclear Chicken, a chain of outer space fast food restaurants, hasn't got enough chickens to open more restaurants. Unfortunately for us, he has a backup plan: to use a special ray to turn every man, woman, child and animal on Earth into a chicken ready to be fried and served up in a bucket! |
Episode 7 - History of catsGarfield decides to make a show about the history of cats throughout time, going as far back to the prehistoric ages and spanning all over the world. The show tells not only of how the cat has progressed over thousands of years, but also of how they have contributed or been directly responsible for some of the biggest inventions of the world. |
Episode 8 - The spy who fed meBad news, Garfield! I'm putting you on a diet, starting now! There's no point protesting, you're ten pounds overweight, so for your own good, there will be nothing but vegetables on the menu from now on. Jon has got it all figured out! There is even a camera to watch you. Yep, fixed right onto your collar. So you can always try to cheat, but you can't win. |
Episode 10 - Ticket to richesWho's never dreamed of winning the big jackpot in the lottery? Hey? Especially when you have bills piling up on your desk and you're totally broke. That's when you really start hoping for a miracle. Right, Jon? Especially since Garfield is still living life to the full and stuffing his face with pizza! Well, it's your lucky day, Jon! |
Episode 11 - Which WitchPoisonous snakes, giant grizzly bears, vampires, Garfield claims he's not afraid of anything! Not even Jon's two adorable nieces? The ones who love dressing up their uncle's cute little cat like a dolly? What? They're on their way? Run, Garfield, run! Those two kids are Garfield's worst nightmare! How will he get out of this mess? Maybe he could lure them over to the neighbor's? |
Episode 12 - The big SneezeAtchooo! It's crazy, Jon can't stop... atchoo!... sneezing. He must be allergic to something, but what? It's funny, as soon as Garfield gets anywhere near him... Atchoooo! Quick! Time to run some tests... Phew, they're negative. He's not allergic to cat fur. A shrink suggests Jon is letting out some repressed anger. |
Episode 13 - BlasteroidRed alert! A huge asteroid is heading right for the Planet Earth! How can it be destroyed? With the space ship Jon designed a few years back? The only problem is it's only big enough for a dog and a cat to pilot it. No problem, Garfield and Odie decide to take on the mission, which turns out to be very dangerous, but extremely satisfying. |
Episode 14 - Meet Max MouseWhy would Garfield waste his energy hunting mice when Jon feeds him with delicious pizza and equally delicious lasagna from Vito's, I ask you? Mice are Garfield's friends, and that requires much less effort. Except that Max, Squeek's cousin, doesn't see things quite this way. You can't trust a cat. They have to get rid of him. |
Episode 15 - Odie for saleJon is in big trouble. He's late on a bill payment and hasn't got the money to pay back Mr. Allwork, a horrible lawyer who loves to sue people for just about any reason. In order to make some fast money, he decides to put together a garage sale. But when Garfield plays a little joke on Odie, Odie ends up being accidentally sold to none other than Mr. Allwork as a gift for his neglected son. |
Episode 16 - Guest from BeyondEddie Gourmand, a food critic, is fired from his show only to be replaced by his station manager who wants to promote a healthier way of cooking. After a chance meeting in a movie theater, Jon invites him back to his house for dinner. But when Eddie injures his foot because of Garfield, he has to stay at Jon's and orders him to take care of him until he is healed or else he'll sue. |
Episode 17 - Cyber MailmanImagine that in the close future, the postal service invents a new mail delivery system. And that the new computerized and holographic system gets tested out at Jon's. After all, Garfield is a real menace to the mail man. But imagine the system has a few teething problems, and Jon's papers get delivered a day early. |
Episode 18 - Farm Fresh FelineHow would you like to spend a weekend on the farm with Jon's brother? With no pizza and no TV? There's nothing Garfield would hate more. But he's gonna have to follow his owner, and what's more, he's gonna have to WORK! Yes, that's right! |
Episode 20 - Master chefVito is a masterful cook, but he dreams of being told so by Giuseppe Squisito, the man who taught him everything and is said to make the best lasagna in the world. Hearing these words sends Garfield into a frenzy and he is soon obsessed: he must have the best lasagna in the world! |
Episode 21 - Honey I shrunk the petsGarfield awakes from one of his naps, only to find a giant sandwich waiting for him, much to pleasure. Jon has finally done something right! When he is attacked by giant pigeons also after his sandwich, it's giant Odie to the resue. It's only when taken to Squeak that he realizes what we all already know: everything isn't bigger, Garfield is just smaller. |
Episode 24 - Dog daysNimbus, an alien friend of Garfield and Odie's comes to Earth to stock up on his favorite food: marshmallows. As he's leaving, he loses them by accident. Upon his return, Odie helps him find the treats and as a reward, Nimbus gives Odie a Forever Doggy Cookie, which reconstructs itself after having been bitten. |
Episode 25 - The Bluebird of happinessIt's a normal day for Harry the stray, who thinks he is in for an easy lunch when he sees a lonely little bluebird. He's going in for the kill when Garfield, warned by Odie, stops him and saves the baby bird. He's felt quite protective of the bluebirds ever since he took care of some abandoned eggs who when they hatched, thought he was their mother. |
Episode 26 - Inside Eddie GourmandThe normally jovial Eddie has been in a foul mood lately. He's giving bad reviews to everyone, even Vito's Pizzeria. But it isn't just the restaurants he's trashing: no one seems to be safe from Eddie Gourmand's ire, not even the streets! Eddie is so down on everything that his station manager orders him to go see a doctor. |
Episode 27 - Depths of a salesmanThe All-Buying-Stuff Channel seems to have the power to hypnotize it's viewers. This can be the only explanation behind Jon's crazy spending. He keeps buying useless and expensive things instead of buying what Garfield thinks is most important: food! But sooon Garfield and Odie are lured in as well by the the items it's host, Hal, is selling. |
Episode 28 - Night of the apparatusesJon has a new program installed on his computer which allows him to control all the appliances in his home by simple voice command. It's name: Millie. Millie responds only to Jon and is connected to everything in the house. But Millie isn't just a program: she is a computer with feelings. Feelings for Jon, especially. |
Episode 29 - Everythings' relativeJon's Aunt Ivy is having her house fumigated. This would all be fine if she didn't have to stay at Jon's during the fumigation. She is soon driving poor Jon crazy with all her wild demands and has completely taken over his house. Garfield of course comes up with a plan to get rid of her. There can only be one pain in his home! |
Episode 30 - Land of holdThe cable goes out just as Garfield is about to find out how to stop the computers from enslaving us all. Jon goes to call the cable company to sort things out, but has no luck actually getting anyone on the line. With chores to do, he leaves Garfield waiting on the line. |
Episode 31 - Fido Food FelineCat food isn't for cats, at least, not for Garfield it isn't. But it's good enough for the strays in the neighborhood, such as Harry and Myron who are fed by a neighbor for whom they must act all cute and kitty like. But Garfield didn't always disapprove of cat food. He used to enjoy it very much, until the day Jon confuses his food with Odie's. |
Episode 32 - Cuter than cuteNermal, Garfield's adorable nemesis, is staying at Jon's for a month. He cannot stand Nermal's cuteness. Little does Garfield know that he is being watched. On planet Parma, the leader now knows how to get to Garfield, his dreaded enemy, the eater of his kind: lasagna. Garfield's voracious appetite for lasagna is the only thing stopping him from taking over the planet. |
Episode 33 - A gripping taleGarfield and Odie are very much into their undersea movie. Sharks, whales, and battles with giant squids... it's all so engrossing. But not so much so that they can resist dozens of donuts. Garfield of course, plans to eat them all, but not if Odie has any say in the matter. |
Episode 34 - Penny HennyThe twins Minerva and Drusilla are visiting Jon's in order to see Garfield. But Garfield would rather flee than be manhandled by some overzealous kids. Jon, having to entertain them, decides to tell them the story of Penny Henny, the worrisome chicken who thinks the sky is falling. But they're not interested in stories, they want Garfield. |
Episode 35 - Wicked WishesOur tale begins with sunny day the beach. Odie is happily playing on the beach when he comes upon a mysteriously bejeweled bottle. It seems to be genie bottle going by what's written on it. Jon and Garfield begins daydreaming about the possibilities. But according to legend, some genies are good and some can be very bad. |
Episode 36 - Jumbo ShrimpyDr. Whipple is back and he has a new "patient": a well trained elephant named Shrimpy. Jon and Garfield go to see his Shrimpy perform all the tricks Dr. Whipple has lovingly taught him. Or has he? When Garfield discovers Dr. Whipple's not so loving training methods, he encourages Shrimpy not to stand for the mistreatment. |
Episode 37 - Pirate GoldIt's a rainy day over Jon Arbuckle's house. A perfect day for watching pirate movies. Garfield's imagination soon takes over and the house becomes a pirate ship, weathering through the storm. With Squeak as his first mate, Odie as his crew member Odie the Nose, Captain Garfield is on a hunt for treasure. |
Episode 38 - Me, Garfield, and IGarfield is being stretched too thin lately. He promised Jon he would run with him every afternoon, Nermal that he would go to his meeting of the International Nermal Fan Club, and Odie just wants to play fetch. All Garfield wants to do is watch his show on tv. |
Episode 40 - Full of beansJon receives a very odd package in the mail from his friend Pablo from Mexico. At first glance, the package appears to be alive. It's moving and jumping all over the place. But when he opens it, he discovers a bean. When the bean begins to bounce all over the house, he calls his friend who tells him that it's a Mexican jumping bean, which are fun as long as it's not swallowed. |
Episode 41 - Detective OdiePacky the packrat is visiting his cousin Squeak. Except Packy has a very strange habit: he likes to trade and swap things. When he takes Jon's wallet and swaps it for Mrs. Shmidlap's very expensive bracelet, his strange habit proves to be also very dangerous as Jon is hauled off to jail for a crime he didn't even know had taken place! |
Episode 44 - True ColorsGarfield is about to learn who stole the Klopman Diamond when the TV goes dead yet again. Jon calls the repairman, but the TV won't be fixed for a few days. In order to soothe Garfield, Jon gets his grandmother's old TV from the garage. Garfield gets it to work but the only show playing on every channel is Dr. Goodiegoodie, a show Jon used to watch as a kid. |
Episode 45 - Rain or shineJon and Liz have a three day beach vacation planned... Without Garfield and Odie. Much to their horror, they have to stay with Aunt Ivy while Jon is gone. Garfield and Odie pray for rain, the only thing that can ruin their trip. Something Paddy the leprechaun seems to have brought with him while making his way through a tunnel. |
Episode 46 - Mind over mouseSqueak seems to have developped a new power: he knows exactly what is going to happen before it happens. How is he doing this? By doing the same thing we are: watching the Garfield Show! This episode just happens to be a re-run! Garfield and Squeak make a deal for Garfield to pretend this power is his and become "The Cat Who Can Predict the Future". |
Episode 48 - Pampered PussycatJon takes Garfield and Odie for their shots at Liz's cabinet. While there, they meet Prince Orloff, the extremely pampered cat of the equally pampered and wealthy Mrs. Van Gelt. Mrs. Van Gelt thinks there is something wrong with Prince Orloff, but Liz informs her that all he needs is some exercise. |
Episode 50 - Parrot BluesOdie is at Doc Boy's, so Jon brings someone else to keep Garfield company during his absence: his editor's parrot, Paxton. But Garfield doesn't need any cheering up, and even if he did, Paxton wouldn't help at all. In fact, Paxton's only ability is to depress everyone with the most negative thinking ever. |
Episode 51 - Unfair Weather - Part 1The heat is unbearable under the Arbuckle roof. In fact it's unbearable everywhere. The only person seemingly happy with the heatwave is Mr. Allwork, whose sales in air conditioning and ice cream and sunblock have gone through the roof. Unfortunately for Jon, this day is also the day he promised the twins, Drusilla and Minerva, he'd take them camping in the woods. |
Episode 52 - Unfair Weather - Part 2Odie and a very relunctant Garfield are dragged along for the ride. What plans to be a miserably hot camping trip in the woods, turns out to be quite pleasant as it starts to rain. But then it starts to snow! Then to hail! Then to rain sandwiches! Something very strange is going on, and this strange weather seems to be coming from a single cloud. |
