While Margaret breezes through the challenges, Sadie finds it increasingly difficult, especially when it comes to the final risk: asking Owen out. |
Episode 2 - Year of the DragonIn an attempt to raise money to save the endangered Komodo Dragon, Sadie organizes a dance with the Students Activity Council. However, Arden Alcott, the most popular girl in school, only seems to like Ben's plans for the dance and not Sadie's. |
Episode 3 - Home AloneSadie's parents are going out on Friday night and so is Hal. Sadie gets the house all to herself. But her plans for a fun night are ruined by a strange pact between Rain and Margaret; concerned that people think they're a couple because they're so similar, they pledge to be as different as possible and to always disagree with one another. |
Episode 4 - Maximum OverdriveIt's a busy week for Sadie as she tries to juggle homework, helping Margaret, Hal and even her parents with their respective projects. Ben warns her that maybe she's taking on too much. But a stubborn Sadie doesn't think so until she agrees to help Owen with an assignment, which turns out to be the straw that broke the camel's back. |
Episode 5 - The Upside of AngerFeeling that they haven't been spending enough quality time together, Jean signs up Sadie and herself for a self-defense class. Not thrilled about having to go alone with her mom, Sadie convinces her friends to join too. |
Episode 6 - ElectionWhen Ben convinces Sadie to run for student president, Sadie agrees. With Ben as her campaign manager, Rain as her spin doctor, Margaret as her image consultant and some noble ideas, Sadie's convinced she can win. But internal differences lead to her firing Ben and him running against her! |
Episode 7 - The Last WaltzSadie is so excited - Ben Harrison asked her to be his ballroom dancing partner during gym class. But Arden plays dirty when she befriends Sadie and tricks her into making fun of Ben, causing a rift in their friendship. |
Episode 8 - Double JeopardySadie inadvertently complicates her life when she agrees to go to the school dance with both Ben and Owen. Hal convinces her that there's nothing wrong with dating two guys at once and for a brief moment, Sadie actually agrees. |
Episode 9 - Brother From Another PlanetBennett High is having a big bowling night. Sadie is going to the event with Ben. Hal is going with his band mates so they can hit up an agent who'll be there, since he sponsored the event. But when Sadie and Hal's sibling rivalry ends up getting them grounded, they have to work together to circumvent their grounding, so that they can pursue their separate agendas. |
Episode 10 - The Parent TrapMr. Levy partners up Sadie and Ben and gives them a fake baby to raise as part of a social studies assignment. Sadie thinks it will be a cake walk, especially considering that she's had so much experience raising baby chicks, ducks and kid goats. |
Episode 11 - The Great OutdoorsKlatt-Meyer takes the kids to a woodland park to teach them about orienteering. When Ron Yuma stirs things up with a sexist comment, the event turns into boys versus girls' race through the woods. |
Episode 12 - Pret A PorterFamed fashion designer Mitsy Monroe is holding a fashion show competition and the winner gets a year internship in her boutique. Margaret enters and enlists Sadie to be her top model. |
Episode 13 - RashomonAcropolis Wow has been ravaged by the mother of all food fights. Fred is determined to find out who started it and won't let anyone leave until he does. |
Episode 14 - The MaskSadie has had it with Ben's non-committal attitude. He's always pushing her away with sarcastic remarks and never opening up. That's when Chris Danvers enters the scene. He's geeky, emotionally available, and he and Sadie are a perfect match. |
Episode 15 - Meet the HawthornesIt's finally going to happen; Ben and Sadie are going out on a date. It will be a romantic dinner for two at Acropolis Wow. Ben's even reserved the booth with the fake ocean view. Fearing that her parents wouldn't approve of her dating, she declines to tell them. |
Episode 16 - Play It Again, SadieMrs. Hathaway, the flakey drama teacher has assigned the class to put on a play. Sadie is displeased to find out she has been assigned to be an actor. Sadie is terrible on stage and is relieved when she lands a role without many lines. |
Episode 17 - Ghouls Just Wanna Have FunHalloween is coming, which means it's time for a Halloween dance. When Arden's concept for the dance is chosen over Sadie's, Sadie is forced to be her assistant. But as she helps Arden, she notices something strange is happening at Bennett High. |
Episode 18 - Match Me If You CanWhen Bennett High hosts a computerized match making service, Sadie and Ben play just for fun. But when they come up as a poor match, Sadie can't help but be concerned, and Margaret and Jamie being the 100% perfect match, isn't helping. |
Episode 19 - A Very Sadie ChristmasIt's Sadie's first Christmas with Ben and she has no idea what to get him. After an exhaustive search, she finds the perfect gift - a special lens for his camera. The only problem is she can't afford it. |
Episode 20 - Working StiffsThe petting zoo is closed for the season and Sadie needs a job. Rain has the perfect solution - a waiter position has just opened up at Acropolis Wow. Fred agrees to give Sadie a shot and she does a fantastic job. |
Episode 21 - English PatienceSadie's English class receives a new student - Hal. It's not permanent; he just has to complete an assignment he missed last year. But Sadie is mortified when Hal chooses her as the subject. He gives a thorough presentation, revealing several of her most embarrassing secrets. |
Episode 22 - Two of KindSadie's Dad is in a tizzy. With his cousin Steve-o and his kids set to visit, Walter wants to make sure everything is perfect which becomes difficult with Sadie and Hal bickering even more than usual. But when their cousins arrive, Sadie and Hal are relieved as Katie and Kal seem really cool! |
Episode 23 - Rules Rush InSadie and Margaret inherit the "Advice Box." This is a lunch time show where Ms. Mann gives advice to students in need. It's also the lamest thing R. B. Bennett has to offer, and Sadie and Margaret fear it will mean social doom. |
Episode 24 - The Bennett ClubSadie's a wreck about being in her first Saturday detention, but luckily she has company in the detention room: Rain, Margaret, Arden and Ben. Arden, on the other hand, is out to make the most of it. In fact, she thinks this is the perfect opportunity for them to get to know each other a little better... |
Episode 25 - As Bad As It GetsThings couldn't be better for Sadie and Ben. In fact, Sadie's pretty sure Ben is going to ask her to be his girlfriend any day now. That is, until Heidi, Ben's ex-girlfriend shows up... Tall, beautiful, athletic and extremely competitive, Heidi gives Sadie a run for her money because she wants Ben back. |
Episode 26 - Sliding Closet DoorsIf a butterfly flapping its wings in one part of the world can cause a tornado in another part of the world, then can the shirt you wear affect the outcome of your day? Sadie is getting ready for school and she's about to throw on any old shirt when Margaret stops her. |
