Season 2 Episode Guide
Episode 1 - The Seventh CycleTwo young mermaids, Ondina and Mimmi, run away from the Mako Island pod with Sirena to try to turn the merman Zac back into a land boy. But Zac's connection to Mako is growing stronger. If they fail, they may never break his connection and save Mako for the pod. On the full moon, they attempt to remove his merman powers when his girlfriend Evie comes to the rescue - only to be turned into a mermaid!

Episode 2 - Sticky SituationWhen Sirena insists that Mimmi and Ondina remove Evie's new mermaid tail, Mimmi reveals the astonishing range of her powers. She makes Evie morph in the cafe. Zac and Cam must conspire to hide her in the cool room. Zac interrupts Mimmi's spell just in time to stop Evie being discovered as a mermaid.

Episode 3 - DiscoveryThe mermaids use a moon ring on Zac to investigate his growing connection to Mako. As a result, Zac has visions of an ancient merman chamber on Mako, which he goes to explore, the worried mermaids following. When Ondina steps into the center of the chamber, she vanishes. A curious Erik arrives on Mako and finds her unconscious in the jungle.

Episode 4 - A New TailErik is keen to get to know more about Ondina. She's not interested in spending time with a land boy. After accidentally transforming into a mermaid in front of Erik, Ondina is devastated. She pleads with Erik to keep the truth about her to himself, however Erik reveals a surprising secret of his own - he is a merman!

Episode 5 - Bad For BusinessZac and Erik enjoy their first swim together but are shocked to find Evie's Dad's boat at Mako, where he has begun taking dive tours. With their home under threat from tourists, Ondina warns Evie to stop her father. When the boat is later damaged, Zac suspects Ondina is the culprit, but then discovers another saboteur is responsible.

Episode 6 - Stormy SeasCam is on lifeguard duty when Erik quizzes him about Zac's connection to Mako. Erik is splashed and rushes into the ocean, disappearing. Cam paddles out in search of Erik, only to discover that Erik is a merman. Meanwhile, Sirena and Ondina engage in a contest of mermaid powers, whipping up a dangerous storm over the ocean. Cam gets in trouble for losing Erik, but Erik stages a fake rescue, making Cam a hero. Erik now has an ally in Cam - and Zac doesn't like it.

Episode 7 - AwakeningZac goes on a camping trip to Mako with his father on the night of the full moon. Cam and Erik are invited too. Zac has another vision of the merman chamber, shared by Mimmi, who races to Mako with Ondina. They leave Sirena to mind Evie, who falls under the moon-spell, but she escapes and finds Zac in the chamber, which begins to come alive under the full moon. Strange symbols on a pedestal light up. Zac's connection to the island is growing stronger.

Episode 8 - Land SchoolMimmi's insatiable curiosity leads her to land school, where Erik quizzes her about the symbols he saw in the merman chamber, hoping she knows their meaning. Distracted by Erik, Carly accidentally spills a beaker of water on Mimmi and Rita. They race out and transform into mermaids on the school lawn, cloaking just before anyone sees them. Evie and Zac help them make their escape.

Episode 9 - StowawayOndina reports back to the Mermaid Council but doesn't mention the existence of Erik, or that Evie now has a tail. She's followed home by a young, adoring mermaid, Neppy, who wants to help save Mako. But Neppy is disillusioned when she realises that Ondina lied to the Mermaid Council. Neppy runs away. Zac helps to find her and Neppy realises how hard they've been working to save Mako. Ondina returns Neppy safely to the pod.

Episode 10 - Keeping the SecretWhen Evie attempts to retrieve her father's watch from the marina's waters, David sees her tail. He's determined to prove mermaids exist and places cameras in the water, leaving the mermaids trapped on land. Ondina and Erik narrowly escape being caught swimming on camera. Zac and the mermaids have to work out a way of convincing David to give up on his quest, while Evie and Sirena both wonder if it might be easier to tell the truth.

Episode 11 - Only As Young As You FeelMimmi and Sirena prepare a potion that helps the user to look younger. Rita applies some before a school excursion to the Marine Park, accompanied by Dr. Ross, the park's handsome Director. Rita is unaware that Ondina accidentally altered the potion, which now makes her act younger as well. Evie and Zac have to move fast to stop the excursion turning into a disaster, while Rita behaves like a young child, threatening to reveal the truth about mermaids when she decides to go for a swim.

Episode 12 - SupersizedMimmi and Sirena try to help David out at the cafe by turning the small crayfish his brother Joe gave him into large crayfish. But they're interrupted and Mimmi loses her moon ring. Sirena and Mimmi do their best to find it before it's shipped to China as part of Joe's export trade. Joe catches Mimmi while she is searching his warehouse. Zac has a vision of her in distress and comes to her rescue. Rita suspects the vision means much more than they realize.

Episode 13 - ReunionOn the night of the full moon, Zac is determined to discover the secrets of the merman chamber. VERIDIA, the head of the Mermaid Council, arrives and uses her power against Zac. She reveals that Zac is a real merman, given up for adoption by none other than Mimmi's mother. Mimmi and Zac are siblings! Mimmi intervenes to save him. Ondina and Rita join Mimmi against Veridia. Zac is safe, but deeply troubled by the revelations.
