Episode 2 - Root's Dadoots / The Rare NospotalotacusRoot's Da-Doots: When little Root gets the da-doots, a Sprite version of the hiccups, his da-dooting helps Johnny finish a song that celebrates what's nice about surprises. The Rare Nosptalotacus: When an endangered Grove creature goes missing, Johnny teaches the Sprites how they can cooperate with one another in order to find it. |
Episode 3 - Johnny's Sister Tina / Spritesgiving!Johnny's Sister, Tina: Johnny's younger sister Tina visits and teaches the Sprites something about human (and Sprites) families, as Johnny and Tina sing about what it's like to have a brother or sister. Spritesgiving: It's Spritesgiving, and Basil discovers that all the vegetables in Grotto's Grove have the Forgetful Fungus! How will Basil save the Spritesgiving Day feast? |
Episode 4 - The Sprites and the What?! / Doctor BasilThe Sprites and the What?!: When Johnny misplaces his colander, it serves many surprising purposes as each Sprite discovers it and invents a new way to use it - proving that there are lots of ways to look at things. Doctor Basil: When Johnny gets sick, Basil does everything to help him. It's not his fault that Sprite cures don't work on humans! It takes Sage to remind Basil that he should take Johnny's feelings into account and "try asking him"! |
Episode 5 - Ginger Listens / Aloha, JohnnyGinger Listens: Ginger learns a valuable lesson when she uses up all her words and has to get through the day listening rather than talking. Sage - the oldest and wisest Sprite in Grotto's Grove--points out that often, it's important to "just listen"…. Aloha, Johnny!: Uh-oh! The Sprites overhear Johnny talking to Gwen and mistakenly assume that he's moving away to Hawaii forever! After they serenade him with an "Aloha" song, they learn a valuable lesson about friendship. |
Episode 6 - Seymour's Guest / Root of PassageSeymour's Guest: An old friend of Seymour's comes for a visit - and the Sprites offer to put him up in the Grove. Problem is, he's a schwombat - and his habits are totally different from theirs. How will they all learn to get along? Maybe a song will help. Root of Passage: It's time for Root to travel through the portal alone…an important day in a young Sprite's life. But will he be too scared to make the journey on his own? Not if Johnny sings a special song to guide him on his way. |
Episode 7 - Sprites Sleep Over / Seymour the SleuthThe Sprites' Sleep Over: When the Sprites have a sleepover in Johnny's house, they have trouble settling down because things are so different in the Grove. How will Johnny help them finally get to sleep? Seymour the Sleuth: When some melons go missing from Johnny's garden, Seymour the Schmole turns singing detective to find out who's taken them. |
Episode 8 - Spring Tuning / Where's the Water, Lily?Spring Tuning: It's Spring - time for the Spring Tuners to show up in Grotto's Grove and wake up the earth. But when they can't show up, the Sprites discover a special song that can bring the Grove to life again. Where's the Water, Lily?: When all the water disappears from the Grove, Lily has to figure out exactly what went wrong…and how to fix it! Sage helps by singing that "there’s got to be a reason!". |
Episode 9 - Ginger & the Shell / Fuzzies' Day OffGinger and the Shell: When Ginger finds Lily's lost shell, she really, really wants to keep it for herself. It takes a song to teach her an important lesson: you don't always get to "keep what you find" if it belongs to someone else…. Fuzzies' Day Off: The Fuzzies take a song-filled day off, leaving the Sprites to take care of the Grove on their own. The Sprites soon realize exactly how much the Fuzzies do to help them—and realize that a large thank-you is definitely in order. |
Episode 10 - Basil's Band / The Sprites' RulesBasil's Band: Basil discovers something about making promises - and keeping them - when he joins a band and forgets about all his friends. The Sprites' Rules: Basil and the others decide to make up some rules to keep the Grove working smoothly. But when their rules get a little too wacky, it takes Johnny to explain that "rules are made for a reason"! |
Episode 11 - Ginger's Grounded / Baby JohnnyGinger's Grounded: When Ginger hurts her wing and can't sprinkle spoffle--Sprite plant food--onto the plants in the Grove, the Sprites worry about what's going to happen to their home. It takes Root--the littlest member of the Sprite family--to come up with a big idea that saves the day. Baby Johnny: Johnny accidentally makes a wish during Sprite Wish Day and turns into a baby—and the Sprites end up as his babysitters! When they finally sing Johnny a Sprite lullabye to put him to sleep, the lullaby turns out to be the solution to another problem…. |
Episode 12 - Laugh Sprites, Laugh / Hola, LilyLaugh, Sprites, Laugh!: The Laughing Lilacs are in bloom, and no one-even Johnny-can stop laughing. But he'd better get over the giggles in time for Gwen's big dance competition that evening! Will he and the Sprites ever get serious again? Hola, Lily: Lily has invited some Fuzzies from around the world to Johnny's house, and she wants to teach Johnny and the others how to say hello in all the Fuzzie languages. It seems impossible…until Johnny writes a helpful song. |
Episode 13 - A Very Spritely Holiday / A Sprites SnowdayA Very Spritely Holiday: The Sprites see Johnny and Gwen exchanging presents for the holidays and get the wrong idea…but they discover that "what really counts is not what's inside the gift—it's what’s inside the giver." A Sprites Snow Day: When the Sprites are snowed out of the Grove, it's hot chocolate for everyone - until Gwen shows up. Unfortunately, she's snowed in, too. And she really needs to get home to plow the streets for her neighbors. The Sprites want to help her…and figure out how to do it in a song…. |
